Temporary Protected Status (TPS) has been extended for nationals of Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone.

DHS recently announced the extension of TPS designation for the three countries, which were initially granted TPS status during the Ebola epidemic. The extension allows currently eligible TPS beneficiaries to retain TPS status through November 21, 2016, so long as they otherwise continue to meet the eligibility requirements for TPS.
Current TPS Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone beneficiaries seeking to extend their TPS must re-register during a 60-day period that runs from March 22, 2016, through May 23, 2016.
If you are a national of Liberia, Guinea, or Sierra Leone and have questions about extending your TPS status, renewing your employment authorization, or want to explore whether this extended designation may benefit you, please call our office to schedule a consultation.
