Christina Galvan has dedicated her legal career to practicing immigration law. She was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in October 2009. During her second year of law school, Ms. Galvan joined Bagia & Associates, PC as a law clerk. Prior to joining Bagia & Associates, PC, she worked as a legal intern at Nationalities Service Center in Philadelphia, where she worked on family-based petitions, naturalization, and deportation defense. She also worked as a legal intern throughout law school at the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) through the Penn Law Immigrant Rights Project, working primarily on defensive asylum applications, self-petitions under the Violence Against Women Act, and policy research. Ms. Galvan participated in the Transnational Legal Clinic at Penn Law, where she represented low-income immigrants on a pro bono basis.
Ms. Galvan is a native Spanish speaker and as a daughter of immigrants, she understands that immigration laws can often seem complicated and burdensome. Ms. Galvan brings her experience and compassion to every case.
